You talk, we turn it into an estimate. To do that we handle your voice recordings, the text they become, and the customer and pricing information you put into your estimates. We don't sell your data, and your price book is never shared with other contractors.
When you create an estimate for a customer, you are responsible for having the right to use their contact information. Customers who receive an estimate link can view, approve, or decline the estimate; their approval signature (typed name) and timestamp are stored with the estimate for your records.
Only service providers necessary to run the product: cloud database and storage (Supabase), AI transcription and drafting (OpenAI), subscription management (RevenueCat, Apple, Google), and — when you send an estimate — the customer you address it to. We never sell personal information, and we do not share your data with advertisers.
Your data is retained while your account is active. You can delete individual estimates and recordings in the app. To delete your account and all associated data, email hello@yellaquote.com — we complete deletion requests within 30 days.
Data is encrypted in transit, stored with per-account access controls (row-level security), and access keys are held server-side. No system is perfectly secure, but yours is not readable by other users of the app.
Yell A Quote is a business tool for adults and is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your region). We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Depending on where you live (including California and the EU/UK), you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information. Email hello@yellaquote.com and we'll honor these requests.
If we make material changes to this policy, we'll notify you in the app or by email before they take effect.
